Spotlight: case studies
The property is the only retail and public space in the owned managed portfolio for our clients, requiring specialized retail and activation expertise. Retail Marketing and Specialty Leasing were engaged to drive traffic, support the retailers and leasing for the remaining vacancies, activate the plaza and drive alternative revenue to mitigate Landlord funded marketing programming.
Following the completion of the ground up development in 2017, the property did not fully stabilize post grand opening and the original merchandising was heavy with nightlife, dining and club tenants. The marketing was targeted to young adults with a focus on weekends and evenings which impacted the perception and alienated family shoppers.
